Eggless Brownies- Made from scratch

When you have a sweet tooth and want something made at home, this is a must try. It goes extremely well with vanilla ice cream. This goodness was introduced by my dear friend Sowmya and I must thank her every time I have been baking these brownies.

PREPARATION TIME- 10 MINUTES

BAKING TIME- 25-30 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/3 all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tspn. baking powder
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tspn. vanilla extract

METHOD:

  • In a mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients, all-purpose flour, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder.
  • Now add the wet ingredients, water, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Mix well
  • You should have a nice thick mixture. Make sure all the flour and baking powder are mixed in otherwise you will have sour clumps in the brownies.
  • Pat the brownie batter into a lightly greased 8×8 sized pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 25- 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and you will definitely want to try more.
